Favorite 13 Piece

I love 13's waistcoat from THoVD so much and was SO EXCITED to find this! There was no way I'd be able to replicate the fabric on my own and the original shop the materials were sourced from shut down during the pandemic. So I ordered this immediately. I've had it for probably a year now and it's still my favorite. It's a bit hot for wearing to cons so I opt for a regular 13 shirt for those usually, but the only thing I'd say about how it holds up is that I'd reinforce the buttons. I've considered it multiple times but just haven't gotten around to it. I love that I could order this in "Men's" as I am nonbinary. I liked that it wasn't a super feminine cut and feels true to the character and costume to me. I love it.

It's....ok

Pros: The fabric is great and it shipped quickly. It's also well sewn.

Cons: You'd think a waistcoat worn by a woman on TV would actually fit someone with breasts. It doesn't. It's bizarrely boxy up top even though the waist area fits perfectly. The buttons are also poorly matched to the vest.

I'm having it professionally tailored to fix the flaws and I'm replacing the buttons.

It's a great concept but it is not worth 50 dollars.
